The WPPC’s annual Natural Landscaping Seminar will be held on February 28, 2026 at McHenry County College. Presentations will include woodland restoration from forests to front yards, plants in high-quality remnant prairies, local butterflies and their host plants and a discussion on Piping Plovers. The price will be a very reasonable $50 for online or early mail-in, and $55 at the door. The price will include access to all four presentations, our book table, vendor booths from local conservation organizations and our famous buffet lunch. Registration will begin on January 5, 2026. Due to on-going construction at the college, the main doors to the commons area may be closed. The entrance to the left (under the Luecht Auditorium sign) will be open, and leads directly to the registration table.
