The WPPC’s Annual Native Plant Sale will be Sunday, May 3, 2026 in the commons area at McHenry County College. The sale runs from noon until 3, but it’s best to arrive early as many of our most popular species sell out quickly. We often have a line forming before 11:30. We offer native plants for many habitats, so there will be something for you no matter if your yard is sunny, shady, wet or dry. This year’s sale will offer over 130 species with prices generally in the $4 to $9 range. Plant availability changes from year to year, but this plant list shows what is normally available. In addition to plants native to northern Illinois we will have a a selection of books available for sale and a vendor offering heirloom vegetable plants and herbs.
