Birds attracted to a native garden

Feed them and they will come. Native plants attract native insects and native insects attract native birds. That’s why things work so sell in the native environment.  Combined with a water source such as a birdbath or pond and an offering of suet and some of their favorite seeds, you will have a good chance at attracting some interesting birds to your yard.

Birds need water to drink and bathe in and a source of food and nesting opportunities. Native shrubs provide berries combined with native plants to attract insects.
