Natural Landscaping Seminar

Held on the third or fourth Saturday of each February, this eight hour event is packed with in-depth presentations by four speakers covering topics on natural landscapes like the use of native plants in the garden, their benefits, aesthetics, strategies for use and support for wildlife.  Vendor exhibits for natural gardening services, products and garden art are available, as well as our own renowned book sales table.  A delicious buffet-style lunch and an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals helps recharge your gardening passions.  Check out the 2026 seminar page for information on the Saturday, February 28 program in the Luecht Auditorium at McHenry County College.  Online Registration is now closed but you may register at the door on February 28 beginning at 8am.  Due to on-going construction at the college, the main doors to the commons area may be closed.  The entrance to the left (under the Luecht Auditorium sign) will be open, and leads directly to the registration table.

We hope you’ll take a break from the winter weather and come hear some wonderful presentations on native plants, habitats and the critters they attract.

Wish to exhibit?  See our Vendor Guide for more information.  You may also complete the Vendor Registration online.

Check out a synopsis of the presentations given at the February 22, 2025 Seminar.
