Chicago Living Corridors next Webinar, August 12, 2020, 7:00 pm

  • July 28, 2020
Identifying and Controlling Invasive Plants will be the next Chicago Living Corridors webinar on August 12 at 7:00 pm. Presenter will be Peggy Simonsen, board member of Chicago Living Corridors and former president of Citizens for Conservation.
It is important to control invasive plants, as they crowd out our native species. They impact biodiversity, and affect the food and habitat needed by pollinators and birds.  The webinar will focus on a number of the most invasive plants in our area – how to recognize them, remove them, and replace them with appropriate native plants.
The WPPC is a founding member organization of Chicago Living Corridors.
